Pinot Noir
Wine
Grosset Pinot Noir is grown in one of the oldest and coldest vineyards in Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills. The soils are quartz rich, coarse grained clay over sandstone.
The fruit is split into two different ferments. One sees the fruit pressed, the other is foot plunged as whole bunches. The wine spends 10 months in French oak, then matures a further nine months in bottle.
Vibrant dark red, Grosset Pinot Noir has pure red cherry flavours, subtle complexity and a tight tannin structure. Cellaring potential is seven years.
